Shipping & Returns
Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship worldwide. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to check local laws regarding the importation of concentrated flavorings before placing an order. Flavor West is not responsible for any packages that are blocked or seized by customs.
What shipping methods are available?
During the checkout process, you can select between UPS, DHL and USPS. Please note that we do not offer free shipping at this time.
Can I return a flavoring if I don't like how it tastes?
Because taste is subjective and our products are classified as food items, health codes restrict us from accepting returns. If you want to try a new flavor profile, we highly recommend purchasing a small 1oz tester bottle before committing to a larger size.
Are there any minimum order requirements?
No, there are no minimums per order.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept all four major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover. Payments are processed through our own system. We do not accept PayPal, Google Wallet, or Cryptocurrency. Bank wire options are coming soon.
Is my credit card information secure?
Absolutely. We never store your credit card information—it is handled entirely by our SSL-secured payment processor. We will also never share your personal information with anyone else.
Flavors
Below are some of are common questions about the flavors we have.
What is the difference between N&A and All-Natural flavoring?
N&A (Natural & Artificial) flavors contain a blend of both natural and artificial components, while our All-Natural flavors are formulated entirely without artificial ingredients. Because of this distinction, the two versions of a flavor will taste different. Keep in mind that some All-Natural options may also contain naturally occurring sugars.
Why did the color of my natural flavoring change from my last order?
Flavor West does not use any artificial dyes or colorings. Natural flavorings, especially citrus profiles, naturally vary in color from batch to batch. This happens because of the natural aspect of the flavor, the season of the crop, and the raw materials sourced at the time of manufacturing.
What types of flavor collections do you offer?
We manufacture hundreds of profiles to fit different applications. Our main collections include Water-Soluble (our most popular liquid flavors), Oil-Soluble (ideal for hard candies or lip balms), Natural, N&A, Powders, Terpenes, and Raw Liquids.
Why does my flavor concentrate smell like solvent in the bottle?
Our products are highly concentrated flavorings, not finished fragrances. In their raw state, the scent can be incredibly pungent. Once properly diluted and mixed to the specifications of your product, the true flavor profile will taste and smell exactly as intended.
What is the recommended mixing ratio for Flavor West concentrates?
While the exact percentage depends heavily on your recipe and specific application, most users mixing beverages or backing applications find the ideal starting point to be between 0.25% and 0.5%. It is always best to start with a smaller amount and adjust up to your personal taste.
Products
Below are some common questions about our products
What are Flavor West concentrates typically used for?
Our concentrates are incredibly versatile because they contain no added fillers. They are widely used for commercial and home baking, candy making, custom beverage formulation (like sodas and coffees), DIY mixing, and various aroma-focused projects.
Do I need to dilute the flavorings before using them?
Yes. Our products are raw, highly concentrated flavorings. They are not meant to be consumed straight from the bottle and must be diluted into a base liquid, batter, or recipe to achieve the correct taste.

The vast majority of our water-soluble flavorings are suspended in Propylene Glycol (PG). Depending on the specific flavor profile, some may also contain trace amounts of alcohol used during the extraction process alongside the natural or artificial flavor compounds.
Are Flavor West products safe for baking at high temperatures?
Yes, our concentrates are food-grade and perform exceptionally well in baked goods like cakes, cookies, frostings, and pastries.

Yes, we are a manufacturer-direct facility. This means we supply premium food flavoring in bulk quantities to commercial bakers, beverage brands, and manufacturers worldwide, while also offering smaller retail sizes for hobbyists and individual consumers.
